Luke and Lily's Birthday

Luke and Lily's 3rd Birthday!......So much fun! Grandpa and Grandma drove down to celebrate their special day together. They also had their buddies Dylan, Kort and Ellis over. What a fun afternoon, first we had a BBQ, jumped in the fun bounce house and got some swim time in as well! Lily loves Tinkerbell so I Tinkered her up a Tinkerbell cake. Luke got his favorites a dinasour train cake! Over all a great and exhausting day for everyone! Thanks to everyone for the Birthday wishes!

Lightning Hockey game

Finally were able to take the kids to a Lightning hockey game. Luke actually paid a lot of attention to the game while the girls mostly goofed around. Savannah enjoyed taking pictures of everyone and playing server. We were in a box and there where platters of food and drinks. Frequently she would as us if there was anything she could get us. She is a good little waitress. Aaron's co workers and a couple buddies also joined us. Lots of fun!

Spring Break 09

Spring Break at Grandma and Grandpa's starts off with a trip to the mall. We didn't bring their swim suits so they decided to play in the fountains fully clothed didn't seem to bother them! Before they got wet we rode the train ride around the mall, Luke's fave! Then a short trip to the beach!

The kids had so much fun picking strawberries and returning home to and egg hunt in the back yard!

A cool day at the Air Force Armament Museum! We had an expert (Grandpa) to answer all our questions! The kids thought it was pretty cool seeing such big jets and helicopters up close. I think we broke a few rules in the process...like climbing and hanging on the aircraft!

Eggstravaganza!!

An annual Easter activity for us it to go to our community Eggstravaganza. We enjoyed the company of the Easter bunny, always a big hit especially when you get lollipops for getting your picture with him. They also had a fun petting zoo...Yes more pics of our kids in a petting zoo. We missed the big kid egg hunt, I guess we had the time wrong. We were in line for the bunny when we saw a mass of kids run into the field of eggs. So we dashed over to the nearby 2 and under area which happen to be in a hockey rink! The kids had fun and scored plenty of eggs! It was a fun time Savannah ran into one of her school buddies Evelyn and enjoyed her company in the petting zoo and pony ride. Of course no activity is complete without their BFF Dylan and Jolyn!

Fire Festival

A couple Saturdays before Easter we had a full day. First the Eggstravaganza then a local technical institute put on a Fire Festival. A busy day was good because that afternoon we would be making the 7 hour drive to Grandma and Grandpa's. It's a much easier drive when the kids sleep through most of it. Well, it worked they slept 5 hours of the trip! The festival was great they had firefighter dress-ups for the kids, bounce houses which was a big hit. The Life flight stopped by and the kids got to sit in the helicopter, they had fire fighter enactments which I think Aaron liked that one more then anyone. The kids also got to spray down cones with the fire hose. The kids were so excited that Dyan and Jolyn were able to go with us! Fun day!!

Trip to Atlanta

We are lucky to be able to visit Chloe, Cassie and Addison again. Hopefully Aaron will continue finding classes to take up in Atlanta, giving us more excuses to visit. This visit was the first since the new addition to their family. The kids love holding and feeding Addison. Luke was even excited to be helpful. Who couldn't with such a happy, sweet baby! Addison is always (well almost) full of smiles and giggles and the kids love it. I think Savannah took about 30 pictures of Addison and she was smiling in ALL of them! Unlike Florida Georgia has some hills, in the back yard the girls had fun sliding down a hill on boogie boards. Savannah was getting pretty good and was so brave! While the girls were in school we took the time to visit the Children's Museum of Atlanta. The kids had a blast the pictures shown are with the ball moving tractor, life size tinker toys, fishing time, painting, and pretend playing in a medieval kitchen. The museum also had the coolest train tables, which Luke especially enjoyed. Lastly, Savannah took probably 50 pictures on this trip mostly of Addison. I posted a few of her work. There was a couple funny ones of Brian but I decided at the end to leave them out! (your welcome) Thank you Brian and Carol for always opening your home to our chaos and your great hospitality!!
