More birthday pics

On their birthday we went to the beach with Aunt Denene and made the kids a birthday card on the sand.

Happy 5th Birthday Luke and Lily!!!

Luke and Lily turned 5 this year. I really can't believe how fast time has gone by. Happy birthday to our babies!!!

We or should I say they decided to have a bounce house party. What a fun and crazy time they had. Luke's favorite part was the giant slide. Lily's favorite part of the day was opening presents. Grandpa, Grandma and Doogan were also able to come celebrate their special day! Thank you friends and family for an awesome day!

Lily wanted a Cinderella cake (her favorite princess) So i did my best and it turned out really cute!

Luke wanted a Tron Cake the party place provided a cake for him. He loved it with the lightcycle on it.

Funny picture... the only one I was able to get at Luke and Lily's end of the year class carnival. They had me face painting and the kids definitely took advantage of that, it was fun though.

This year Savannah was chosen for one of the staring roles for the first grade play. The play was a comedy about Old MacDonald and the Farmer and the dell and how they couldn't get the cow to Moo. The script was funny and the costumes were so cute. I did help put the costumes together again this year. We get reserved first row seating when I help out...perks. Savannah played the role of Mrs. Dell. She had four lines and did an awesome job. She also had a dancing part that was super cute. For her speaking part she was loud and had a lot of expression and smiles. I was nervous that she would be nervous and forget her lines but she wasn't a bit nervous and had a blast. We are so proud of her and the hard work she put into it. They were able to perform the play twice, once for the other grades at school and then that night for the parents. Each time she did and even better job. She was sad that the show didn't go on and couldn't keep performing.

Girl Scouts Bridging Ceremony

This past year Savannah has been in a Girl scout Daisy troop. They started mid year and have had a lot of fun. They took a trip to the Aquarium, worked on a smoking cessation campaign that has been posted on You tube, learned about nature and taking care of the earth. Now that the year is over the girls will move on to be Brownies. The troop had a cute bridging ceremony at the adventure park bridge. As the girls cross over the bridge they meet the troop leader and replace their daisy vest with the brownie vest and are pinned brownies. Afterward there were snacks and the girls were given the patches and awards they have earned throughout the year.
